Miss You in a Heartbeat
Miss You in a Heartbeat is one of Def Leppard‘s songs. It was written by their guitarist Phil Collen. They released the song as a single in 1993. In 1994, it was included in their album Retro Active. Phil said that he wrote the song when he missed his family. His son, Rory, was his inspiration for the song.
Def Leppard was formed in Sheffield, England in 1977. The members of the band are Joe Elliot as the vocalist, Phil Collen as the guitarist, Rick Savage as the bassist, Vivian Campbell as the guitarist replacing Steve Clark, and Rick Allen as the drummer. The drummer lost his left arm in a car accident in 1984. After the accident, he’s been playing the drum with one hand.
The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Brooklyn, New York in 2019. They performed five songs on the stage. Brian May, the guitarist of Queen, inducted Joe Elliot and friends. He knew well the journey of the band and was so proud of it.
This year they release their new album called DIAMOND STAR HALOS. There are 15 songs in the new album. They have been doing an album tour in some cities in the US since June. The tour was called The Stadium Tour.
